Bandai has confirmed a highly anticipated reissue and a brand new kit for the popular Hatsune Miku x Mobile Suit Gundam collaboration. Premium Bandai will offer the returning RG 1/144 MS-06S Zaku II [Hatsune Miku Ver.] alongside the debut of the RG 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.2.0 [Hatsune Miku Ver.] through a limited lottery system.
This marks the first time the iconic RX-78-2 has been given the Miku treatment using the advanced Ver.2.0 Real Grade mold. Both exclusive model kits are scheduled to ship in May 2026.
The Zaku II reissue is priced at 3,850 yen. The new Gundam kit is slightly higher at 4,290 yen. These Real Grade kits feature detailed decals that merge the classic mecha designs with the distinct virtual idol aesthetic.
Fans must act quickly to enter the lottery. The application window opens tomorrow, January 19. Entries for the Zaku II begin at 11:00 JST, followed by the Gundam at 12:00 JST. The submission period closes on February 2 at 15:00 JST.
Bandai is utilizing the lottery approach to manage the massive collector demand that followed the initial Zaku release. The new Gundam kit benefits from the Ver.2.0 mold, which typically ensures improved articulation and a streamlined build process. Both models are exclusive to this lottery draw and will not be available through standard retail channels.

Collectors who missed the previous Miku crossovers know how fast these items sell out. Expect intense interest as fans vie for these uniquely colored models.
