Assassination Classroom Movie Unveils Massive New Voice Cast for 10th Anniversary Continuation

The 10th Anniversary Cinematic Return
The highly anticipated cinematic return of the hit franchise, Assassination Classroom, is gaining significant momentum as the production unveils a comprehensive expansion of its voice acting roster. Titled Gekijōban Ansatsu Kyōshitsu Minna no Jikan (Assassination Classroom the Movie: Everybody's Time), this theatrical event marks the 10th anniversary of the beloved series. The film promises not just a celebration but a substantive continuation of the narrative.
The latest additions to the cast were revealed in the inaugural 2026 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, introducing five significant new talents to the ensemble.
New and Returning Voice Cast Members
Joining the project are Yūichirō Umehara, who steps into the role of Seeker; Kappei Yamaguchi as Futoshi; Tetsu Inada, lending his voice to Sengoku; Kazuhiro Yamaji portraying Mario; and Hiroki Tōchi as Chantha. These veterans complement an already robust lineup, including Kikuko Inoue as Azusa, Sayumi Suzushiro as Kaho Tsuchiya, and Mai Kanazawa as Kokona Tagawa.
Crucially, Mai Fuchigami will reprise her iconic role as Nagisa Shiota while also tackling the newly introduced character, Hotaru. The film guarantees a seamless experience for established viewers, as beloved cast members from the original television anime series are confirmed to be returning to their signature roles.

Production Team Details
Behind the scenes, the creative team is led by Director Masaki Kitamura at Studio Lerche. Makoto Uezu returns to pen the screenplay, ensuring narrative authenticity, while Aya Higami, known for contributions to After-School Hanako-kun, handles character design. This production is positioned to be a visual and emotional powerhouse, leveraging Studio Lerche's proven animation quality.
Narrative Scope and Significance
What makes this film vital for fans is its narrative scope: it is not merely a recap or commemorative piece. The movie will incorporate a complete set of episodes that were regrettably omitted from the original anime run due to production time constraints. This expanded material delivers fresh, meaningful content, preserving the series’ characteristic blend of sharp action, distinctive comedy, and deep character growth.
Original manga creator Yūsei Matsui has underscored that this project serves as a genuine progression of the main storyline, making it an essential chapter rather than supplemental viewing. Distributed by Avex Film Labels, Assassination Classroom the Movie: Everybody's Time is slated for a major premiere in Japanese theaters on March 20, 2026.
