Assassination Classroom 10th Anniversary Film 'Minna no Jikan' Unveils New Voice Cast and Untold Manga Stories

The cinematic return of Class 3-E is officially confirmed. The official website for the Assassination Classroom anime franchise has unveiled critical casting and production details for the upcoming feature film, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu Movie: Minna no Jikan. This project serves as a significant 10th-anniversary celebration of the original television anime adaptation and is slated for a Japanese theatrical debut on March 20, 2026. This new movie is confirmed to adapt previously un-animated arcs and stories from Yuusei Matsui’s original comedy-action manga, promising new perspectives on the students' high-stakes mission to eliminate their extraordinary teacher.
Production Staff and Returning Voice Ensemble
Studio Lerche is spearheading the animation, with Masaki Kitamura taking the directorial reins. Makoto Uezu is responsible for the scriptwriting, ensuring the narrative remains accurate to the source material, while Aya Higami contributes the character designs. Crucially, the production confirms the return of the beloved, original voice ensemble, guaranteeing the familiar chemistry established in the series. Jun Fukuyama is set to reprise his iconic role as the speedy and enigmatic Koro-sensei. He is joined by key returning veterans, including Tomokazu Sugita as Karasuma, Mai Fuchigami as Nagisa Shiota, Aya Suzaki as Kaede Kayano, and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Karma Akabane, alongside numerous other established cast members.
New Voice Actors Join the Cast
Excitement is further heightened by the introduction of new talent expanding the Class 3-E universe. The newly announced voice actors include Kikuko Inoue, recognized for her recent work in Dandadan, who will lend her voice to Azusa. Mai Fuchigami, known for her performance in Ao no Orchestra, is also joining the cast in the role of Hotaru. Furthermore, Sayumi Suzushiro, who notably appeared in Danjo no Yuujou wa Seiritsu suru? (Iya, Shinai!!), is confirmed to portray Kaho Tsuchiya. Rounding out the new additions is Mai Kanazawa, known for her role in Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e 3rd Season, who will voice Kokona Tagawa.

This announcement follows the franchise’s successful continuation path set by Assassination Classroom: 365 Days' Time, a compilation film released in November 2016. Although production is moving forward rapidly, comprehensive plot specifics for Minna no Jikan remain tightly guarded. While the series maintains robust popularity, streaming both seasons on platforms like Crunchyroll, international audiences are still awaiting confirmation regarding an official Western release date or English dub localization.
