Anticipation for the anime adaptation of Kocha Agasawa's manga, 'You and I Are Polar Opposites,' is high following the release of its third promotional trailer. A new main visual was also unveiled, alongside the announcement of the ending theme song, 'Pure,' performed by PAS TASTA and featuring Eriko Hashimoto. The series is scheduled to premiere on January 11, 2026, airing every Sunday at 5:00 p.m. JST on MBS, TBS, and their affiliated networks. Global streaming will be available via ABEMA in Japan and Crunchyroll for international viewers.
Under the direction of Takayoshi Nagatomo and produced by studio Lapin Track, the adaptation aims to provide an engaging experience. Teruko Utsumi is responsible for the series composition, and Miyakomako handles character design. The narrative focuses on the dynamic between Suzuki, a spirited young woman, and Tani, a reserved young man known for his directness. Their contrasting personalities form the core of this romantic comedy, with Sayumi Suzushiro voicing Suzuki and Shogo Sakata as Tani, supported by an ensemble cast.
