The staff for The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten officially confirmed the premiere date for the second season during the GA FES 2026 livestream. The romantic comedy series is set to begin airing in Japan on April 3, 2026. The announcement was paired with the release of a brand-new key visual showcasing protagonists Amane Fujimiya and Mahiru Shiina.
Broadcast details confirm the show will start on Tokyo MX at 10:30 p.m. JST on April 3. It will follow with an airing on BS NTV early on April 5.
Animation duties remain with studio Project No.9, which handled the first season. The core voice cast is also returning, featuring Taito Ban as Amane and Manaka Iwami as Mahiru. They will be supported by Taku Yashiro as Itsuki Akasawa and Haruka Shiraishi as Chitose Shirakawa.
There is one notable change behind the scenes for Season 2. Chihiro Kumano is taking over directing duties, replacing Lihua Wang. Keiichirō Ōchi remains the series composer, and Takayuki Noguchi is credited with the artwork for the new key visual.

The anime continues to adapt Saekisan’s light novel, which tracks the slow-burn romance developing between the two next-door neighbors. The first season aired in early 2023, gaining traction for its gentle pacing, with Crunchyroll handling the international stream at the time of reporting.
