The second season of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is officially set to begin airing on April 3, 2026. This release date was confirmed during a special segment at GFES 2026, where the production staff also revealed a new key visual for the upcoming run.
The new artwork prominently features the central pair, Amane Fujimiya and Mahiru Shiina, walking together, suggesting the continued cozy atmosphere of the neighborly romance. Studio Project No.9, which handled the 2023 first season, is returning for animation duties.
While the animation studio remains consistent, there is a change behind the camera. Chihiro Kumano will take over as director for the sequel. The confirmation of Season 2 originally followed back in October 2023, and production has been active since then.
The announcement follows the release of a new trailer and visuals in October 2025, shortly after the Mahiru idol project launched in November 2025. The original light novel series, written by Suzuka and published by SB Creative, continues to be streamed internationally by Crunchyroll. Viewers who enjoyed the established dynamic can expect Amane and Mahiru’s story to continue that same tone.
