The second season of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is officially set for an April 2026 broadcast start. This confirmation arrived alongside the release of a new key visual this past weekend. Studio Project No.9, which handled the first season in 2024, is confirmed to be returning for animation duties on the sequel.
The newly revealed visual prominently features Amane Fujimiya and Mahiru Shiina walking together, emphasizing their developing relationship with the series' signature soft aesthetic. A short teaser trailer also dropped, showing intimate moments and including the line: "Girls can become angels or little devils around someone they really like."
All primary voice actors are confirmed to be reprising their roles. Manaka Iwami returns as Mahiru Shiina, and Taito Ban is back as Amane Fujimiya. Supporting cast members Hisako Kanemoto, Kensho Ono, Haruka Shiraishi, Makoto Furukawa, Taku Yashiro, and Mai Nakahara are also returning.

Chihiro Kumano will be taking over as the new director for the sequel.
The series is based on the light novel written by Saekisan and illustrated by Hanekoto. It began on Shosetsuka ni Naro before being published under SB Creative's GA Bunko imprint starting in 2019. A manga adaptation by Wan Shibata is also running. Yen Press handles the English novel releases, focusing on the dynamic between the messy Amane and the seemingly perfect Mahiru.
The Season 2 announcement follows the initial greenlight given in October 2023, which also included teases for a Mahiru idol spin-off project. Crunchyroll currently holds the global streaming rights for the series.
