Agents of the Four Seasons Anime Reveals Winter Visual, Confirms Spring 2026 Premiere

The production team for the upcoming anime adaptation of Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring confirmed its debut window, revealing the series is set to air in Spring 2026. The announcement arrived Monday alongside a new promotional video and the official key visual for the Winter arc.
The new visual prominently features the Agent of Winter, Rōsei Kantsubaki, alongside his Guard, Itechō Kangetsu. The promotional video also confirmed that Kensuke Ushio, known for scoring several other projects, is handling the music composition for the series.
Wit Studio is managing the animation production. Ken Yamamoto is directing, fresh off his work on Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era and Pokémon: Hisuian Snow. Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Mobile Suit Gundam UC, Spy×Family) is serving as an animation advisor.
Ayumu Hisao, who previously worked on I'm in Love with the Villainess, is overseeing the scripts, and Namiko Torii is responsible for the character designs.

Plot Details and Release Window
Aniplex is backing the series, which is slated to air specifically in the second quarter of 2026. Fans have been anticipating this release since the anime was first announced back in April.
The anime adapts the novel series by Kana Akatsuki, which Yen Press licenses for English release. The core plot revolves around a world initially shaped by Winter's solitude. Winter divided his essence to create Spring, Summer, and Autumn at Mother Earth's request, establishing the cycle of seasons. Agents maintain these roles, but when creatures begin to fail, deities intervene.
The central conflict involves Hinagiku, Spring's Agent, who disappeared a decade ago, effectively pausing the season. She eventually returns after facing trials to restore the cycle and deliver a message of love to Winter.
