Wit Studio is officially moving forward with the anime adaptation of Kana Akatsuki’s novel series, Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring. The studio confirmed the project will premiere in Spring 2026. A new promotional video dropped this week, revealing the core voice cast and theme song details for the upcoming fantasy series.
Yuka Nukui is set to voice Hinagiku Kayō, the central character and Agent of Spring. The rest of the seasonal agents and their guardians will be voiced by Yoshino Aoyama, Sumire Uesaka, Ranko Baba, Hime Sawada, Taku Yashiro, Shōgo Sakata, and Satoshi Hino. The recent video gave fans their first look at the official character designs.
Musically, the production confirmed that popular Vocaloid producer Orangestar will handle both the opening and ending theme songs. This is a significant creative choice that establishes a distinct sound for the series.

Ken Yamamoto is directing the series at Wit Studio. Kazuhiro Furuhashi, known for his work on Gundam UC and Spy×Family, is listed as an animation adviser. Ayumu Hisao is handling series composition, Namiko Torii is on character design, and kensuke ushio is composing the score.
The story centers on divine agents who manage the world’s seasonal cycle. The core mythology explains that Winter created Spring out of isolation, which then led to the multiplication of the seasons and the creation of the Agents. The plot focuses on Hinagiku, the Agent of Spring, who vanished a decade prior and now must return to fix a critical imbalance.
This project marks another major collaboration between Wit Studio and author Kana Akatsuki, who is also the creator behind Violet Evergarden. The original novels are published under Dengeki Bunko with art provided by Suoh.
