The upcoming Kill Blue anime adaptation has officially announced its theme song performers, with K-Pop groups aespa and RIIZE confirmed for the opening and ending tracks, respectively. The news follows the release of new teaser trailers that offered a first listen to the opening theme.
aespa will perform the opening theme, titled "ATTITUDE." The track debuted in the latest promotional video, which highlighted the series' blend of assassin action and middle school antics. Protagonist Jūzō Ōgami, a 39-year-old hitman trapped in a child's body, is featured insisting he is just a regular first-year student, setting up the core premise.
The trailers also showcased several key classmates at Rikka Middle School, including Noren Mitsuoka, Chisato Shiraishi, Shin Kohazame, Tenma Tendo, Kotatsu Nekota, and Eri Wanibuchi. The footage emphasizes the stark contrast between Jūzō’s hidden killer instincts and his facade of normal school life.
aespa commented that "ATTITUDE" matches the show's fast pace and expressed hopes that fans would enjoy the series alongside their song. RIIZE's ending track, "KILL SHOT," is set to conclude the action-heavy tone established in the previews.

Studio CUE is handling the animation production. The voice cast includes Yuko Sanpei as the young Jūzō Ōgami, Fuka Izumi as Noren Mitsuoka, and Shuichiro Umeda as Kotatsu Nekota. Shunsuke Takeuchi is confirmed to voice the adult version of Jūzō.
Kill Blue, based on the manga by Makoto Fukami and Vador, is slated for a TV broadcast sometime in 2026. This music announcement is the latest detail released as anticipation builds for the series.
