Overview
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End tells the story of Frieren, an elven mage who was once part of a legendary group that defeated the Demon King after a decade-long quest. Thanks to her long lifespan as an elf, Frieren witnesses her human companions grow old and pass away while she remains unchanged. Following the death of her dear friend Himmel, she sets out on a poignant journey to visit the resting place of souls. Alongside Fern, an orphaned apprentice, and Stark, a young warrior, Frieren reflects on her past adventures, deepens her understanding of human emotions, and continues her pursuit of magical knowledge. Through this reflective voyage, the series explores themes of mortality, friendship, and the enduring impact of fleeting moments.
